Do you think I will be able to put this fan controller in a fractal define r5 and still be able to close the door?

Not unless you install it so that the controller is set back into the front bays where the knobs are flush with the front which looks possible with the 5.25"bay mounting holes on the R5

I doubt it, i have the zalman zm-mfc1 plus which has similar knobs and it wont work in my r5 unless i set it back some like W-L said,  which looks kinda funny imo so i didnt even use it.
