Outake Exhaust Help

Go to solution Solved by ChaseB,

Oh, get a SP fan for that, the one I mentioned earlier. Use SP for any radiator.

SP fans are for pushing air through tight fin arrays like those found on radiators.. AF is for moving large volume of air... Unless the fin array on the cooler is VERY tight then stick to AF.. same for case fans.

AF then. SP is great for pushing air through a radiator etc. AF is great for general case fans.

SPs go with your cooler, I think the NF-F12s bc they are static pressure (SP)

So I have the Corsair 300r and I have a NH- D15 Noctua Cooler. As according to my last few threads, yall know that I want to upgrade to all Noctua Fans. Anyways I am looking at 120mm Noctua Fans. Should I get SP or AF with this tight area around my Cooler.  I am looking for quietness and best cooling. In this link are the 3 fans I am looking at. Please Help Thanks

But for my outtake fan that is so close to the heatsink, should I go for a SP design Fan or AF. The outtake is not directly on the heatsink.

24 fps for that "cinematic" feel

After a couple weeks of behavioral sciences at my school I can easily conclude my parents need to grow up.

So you would recommend a AF side of things for a mabey 2 cm gap between the fan and the heatsink.

what?

I have a NH D15 cooler. From the heatsink to the back of the case is maybe 2 cm. Can an AF fan perform well or do I need a  SP fan for that closeness. Look at my link above with the 3 choices.
