I think i have pretty much finished planning out my system so if you guys could tell me what you think that would be great!

It is a workstation/gaming build and here are the parts:

 

i7 4790k

asus strix 970 gpu

asus z97 pro gaming motherboard

corsair vengence 2133mhz 16gb ram

fractal design R5 case

intel 730 ssd and wd black 1tb hdd

Seasonic SS-520FL2 fanless 520 watt power supply

asus pb238q monitor

4x 140mm cougar vortex fans

noctua NHU-14S heatsink

logitech g710 plus keyboard

roccat kava plus mouse

windows 8.1 64 bit

Change HDD to Seagate Barracuda 1TB

Change GPU to a 290x.

Get a higher watt PSU using the money you saved from the 290x and HDD.

But if you like silence, ignore the 290x and PSU change

sounds good to me! But if you wanted to ever upgrade in the future, it might be a good idea to get a more powerful power supply now, just so you have that extra space to upgrade or even overclock. But other than that it seems great to me!

yeah thanks I really like that psu though and it is really annoying it dosen't come in a higher wattage and I am trying to make a pretty silent build as well in which the psu is perfect for.

1. The 290x has full 4gb vram as advertised

2. Seagate is cheaper

3. Nope, the PSU is fine
