Audio playing through microphone

I just got a HyperX Cloud Gaming Headset and all the audio I hear goes through my microphone and is a very big struggle for the people that I talk with especially when playing games like csgo. Any fixes?

Check your settings, maybe the sound is leaking from your headphones. Lower the volume and try.

If the audio is really loud through the mic, and you aren't using speakers in tandem, it could be that some wires got messed up in the earcup, so you may have to RMA it... But generally, turning down volume should help.
