You need SLI certification to run SLI and there is now way of doing it on MBO without it.

No as it would only be a x8 signal and SLI needs x16

SLI works on 8x and above.

 

I'm not sure if it would work on a non-certified board. If I had to guess, I'd say SLI would run into issues, but Crossfire might work. Be warned though, one of those adapters may lead to overdrawing current through the PCIE slot. I wouldn't recommend using one for an device drawing more than 35 Watts.

Ignoring the fact that there's no space between those two slots so it's unlikely you could fit two cards in, you'd still only getting power from a single PCIe slot, and while cards do draw power through the aux power connectors I don't know if they'd try to draw too much through the PCIe slot.

Also ITX runs into space issues. Most of the cases are a really snug fit with little room for cable management, let alone a dual-card setup. You'd have to find a case that supports the space for it and two video cards.
