Need Help Upgrading

I am looking to upgrade my current PC. However, I am not sure where to start, any suggestions would be great!

(Looking for performance or aesthetic appeal (lighting, wiring, etc, upgrades....)

 

Budget of $500 for now.

Your PC is still pretty powerful. If you really want to upgrade get a R9 290 if you want the most price per performance or a GTX 970.

 

EDIT: Or if your PSU is powerful enough you can get another 7950 for crossfire.
