They're all going to be very similar at 1080p. What are the prices?

 

Edit: Didn't see that X. Yes, the 280X is the fastest listed, but the prices may still be a factor.

This is my opinion, I wouldn't go for AMD since they're close to releasing their new line of graphic cards and it's rumored that the new 280x will be a rebrand of the 290.

The 280X might be a bit better, depending on the price but I like having more vram for applications/games that need it and the stability of nvidia's drivers :D

Look up 960 and 280X benchmarks (from the same source if possible)  at 1080P and go from there.

Then yeah, I'd definitely go with the R9 280X.

 

It's usually only a bit more in the US as well (or probably cheaper than a 4 GB 960), but I noticed you're in Romania and I didn't want to make assumptions about what your prices were.
