Second screen not working anymore

As the title says, my second screen doesn't respond anymore. I can spam 'Extend desktop' in CCC and it will never, NEVER go back.
Here is what I did now to see what was the problem:

  • Replug cables => nothing
  • Change screen => nothing
  • Change to HDMI => Working (on the new monitor, the old one doesn't take HDMI)

The current cable setup is a bit weird:
DVI to (DVI to display port adapter) to (display port to mini-display port adapter) to GPU <== It worked perfectly fine before

I have managed to get it work again but I don't really know what i did, and when I reboot the PC its not working anymore. Anyone got suggestion?
