So I'm looking at a laptop I might go buy tomorrow (need for school) it's pretty nice, i7, 8GB ram, 5400 rpm 1TB HDD 1080p. Anyways it doesn't come with a CD drive. How would I go about using an external one? Would just need it occasionally for installing programs, lots of times CDs come with books for my classes. I have CD drive for a desktop computer but I'm not sure how I would connect that to a laptop.........anyways how can I accomplish this?

You could always just purchase a cheap external drive (dvd, bluray etc) which connects via USB 2.0+?
