Apple earpods replacement?

Guest Console Peasant

I like the audio quality (yes im serious) and design of the earpods from apple, these are the ones that are shaped like actual ears,  not the abominal ones that were included before. I like the fit but the quality is just ok, but I like it.

I was wandering if any other vendors like sennheiser do headphones like these with actual good quality? That would be cool as.

I don't know the sound quality of these earphones but they have the same fit and shape as the Apple earpods if that's what you want the most. http://www.microsoftstore.com/store/msuk/en_GB/pdp/Microsoft-Comfort-Headset/productID.315895600 .

Apparently the Amazon Premium Headphones are about the same in audio standards, but is a bit cheaper, and look better. I don;t understand how rubber eartips are uncomfortable to people. My everyday IEMs pretty much rape my ear canals, and I find them quite comfy.

There isn't much out there that has the same shape as Apple. If anything got popular, I'm sure the company that made them would get sued... lol! Anyway, I've heard that the Apple ones sound quite good for the price, which is really something. I didn't know apple could make something that could compete on the level of performance, as opposed to just build quality. I say good on them. I would just go with the earpods though.

Earpods' weird shape contributes to its distinct sound. It doesn't isolate well, but on the other hand, it gives a good amount of stereo wideness, or 'airy' feeling.

Never saw any 'serious brands' earphone that approach this angle of design. Most of them focus on isolation, to give the most accurate sounds as possible.
