These have gotten to the point where the game is unplayable now. Consistent intervals of insane fps drops, like from 60 to 10-15 or maybe lower. Maybe 20 second periods of smooth gameplay interrupted by a 10 second period of oh god I can't even fucking aim. GTA V has fps drops as well, and as I found out maybe my CPU isn't clocked high enough. But BF4 isn't exactly very CPU intensive and I ran it fine on a 770 in this same PC without these issues so I guess I can eliminate that. I'm not sure what to look for here?

It's probably the latest drivers.

Wtf? Yeah, it runs at like 55-60fps, I run it at 1080p at just high preset. Might try ultra. My 2gb 770 ran high preset considerably fine. How do I fix these irregular fps drops tho?

I suspected that as well. How do I figure out what the most recent driver before this was, and do a clean install of it?

What drivers are you using? Going from Omega to 15.4 Beta, I went from 35-40 FPS with frequent dips in GTA V to solid 60.

nVidia's most recent drivers... not sure what they're called. The GTA V game ready ones.

Geforce experience should say.

350.12 WHQL is the latest one. I've never done a clean install with nvidia drivers so I don't know, but I'm sure it's simple to downgrade.

Clocked back to drivers before 350.12 WHQL, BF4 works fine! Haven't tested GTA V. So excited. Thanks all!
