So I'm pretty sure we've all know that putting your OS on a SSD makes it boot quicker. Although can someone tell me what else improves when your OS is on a SSD? Or is it just boot times?

boot times, Copy and read speeds.

Having the OS on the SSD improves the overall responsiveness of your system. Transfer speeds, loading times and everything that requires access to system files or is actually installed on the SSD would behave better and work smoother and faster. You would also have less noise as the system won't turn for everything to the HDD but the SSD.
