Are you totally sure that's solvable in that state? You'd need more information to solve it, I'm pretty sure.

No, find what each side would have to be and from that take the longer side and divide it by 3 and that's the width of each square. Then take the longer side and divide by 2 and that will get the height of the square.

See, but that wouldn't work. You can't measure the sides, as they're not in units. You can't calculate the sides, because, for all you know, the 'long' sides could be 150 each, and the 'short' sides are 4 each. You'd need a measurement on at least one length, inside or out.

No, you need to find the length of each side, you have the whole perimeter so just find the long side of the whole square, and the short side of the whole square.
