Hi LTT,

I recently solved a driver crash problem on my R9 290 when playing world of warcraft (Oddly enough it's only WoW) by setting my 2D mem clocks to run at max. Are there any risks to the mem chips when the mem clocks are at max all of the time? Reason is that im using Asus GPU tweak and i dont think there is an option to auto-select the profile. Thanks for all the inputs!

You can switch to MSI Afterburner and just click-apply profiles with different clockspeeds.  WoW is pretty sensitive to overclocking (if that's what you are doing) so I always reset my GPU clocks when WoWing and reapply my OC profile when I'm not.

QUOTE ME IN A REPLY SO I CAN SEE THE NOTIFICATION!

When there is no danger of failure there is no pleasure in success.

My PCS+ R9 290 is OCed by default so yeah it was a problem, sadly dialling it down to normal R9 290 clocks didnt solve it either. Luckily it was the 2D clock settings. I've used AB before to solve this issue but it made my PC crash a lot, maybe i just need to try adjusting the profile better, thanks for the input!
