so im on an old computer and notice these weird files on the C:/ Drive. Some are locked and I cant delete them whatsoever.

I also noticed that if I tried downloading or even patching some online games, it would usually tell me something along the lines of data being Corrupt.

I'm assuming my Hard Drive is corrupt, so how do I go about fixing/cleaning this?

do you happen do be at the temp files?

if you are that is completely normal

no idea about the patch thing though

I dont think they are. They're just folders on the hard drive. I ran CCleaner, which cleans temporary files, and these are still here.

Also, they all seem to have the same content in them..

I just have no knowledge as to what this is.

are they in the C: root directory?

or there are in the Windows sub folder?

windows updates may store the files in the C:\ Root or Windows folders

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.
