change the mobo for an asus z97-a (because i like asus, deal with it)

change the WD black for a WD blue, it costs 30-40$ less, and the performance difference is at most 10 mb/s on the reads/write

change the corsair RM series for en EVGA 850 G2 or a rosewill capstone, as these use 100% japanese caps while the RM uses cheaper chinese and taiwanese caps

other than that it looks fine to me

The system is fine. You will enjoy building and using it.

If it were me, I would have purchased a different psu. A better and less expensive model such as the EVGA 220-G2-0750-XR. I would have also chosen a DDR3-1600 CL 9 memory kit, instead of CL 10. But those are small points.

In general you have selected quality, albeit expensive components.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.
