Problems with windows 7

When I wake up from sleep, my keyboard and mice don't work. I have to unplug it and plug it back in. This didn't happen when I had windows 8.1(i switched back just to get a feel of windows 7 again, not too pleased right now)

 

Any solutions to this? This is quite annoying.

I generally turn off sleep mode..it has all kinds of weird probs with it

better just to have the monitor turn itself off

your problem is probably associated with the os not telling your mouse and keyboard to shut down or sleep properly

Go to your BIOS/UEFI, go to BIOS wake events or something- change that from OS to BIOS and enable wake from USB keyboard and mice.
