I have an older PC sitting around that I figured I would get rid of. I'm trying to get a good idea on valuation for the system though. Here is a PC Part Picker with the prices set to a rough estimate of what I paid at the time. Some parts are marked down. It runs great and can still keep up with pretty much anything out, at least at 1080p.

Any thoughts on a fair price?

Id say 500-800 bucks, But as @NannerBeans says, You will probably get more if you sell it part by part.

In my opinion, I'd just change the the CPU, To a i5 4690K Which is overclockable to a good power use, And maybe change the cooler to a H60 Or something? Everything looks good, But i'd just go different on the CPU.

Look at my signature, I have a newer system. This was just my old one that held me over until I built my more recent one. The i7 920 overclocks well, I have it sitting at 3.6ghz on air. I used to run SLI on this system too hence the overkill PSU.

Unsure of those old cpu/mobo but these are the prices of each other part if you sell it piece by piece.

12GB RAM: $80-90

160GB SSD: $60-70

2TB WD Green: $60

Asus gtx 780: $300 (You have to sell this on Amazon to get this price. Most forums would only pay about $250 for this).

EVGA 1000W PSU: $120

Case: Maybe $40 local? This is hard to sell because it's not worth shipping.
