Hello again LTT! I've changed my build that I'm planning to do so many times and I can't decide which motherboard to go with. Here's the rest of the build for context: http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/mnTDNG

Go for the asus board if you are not looking into getting an unlocked cpu after. If you plan on choosing an unlocked cpu later than go for the msi board. But, I dont think it would be a good idea to upgrade a 4460 to a 4690k since the 4460 is already really competent for gaming.

So in the end, I suggest you to get the Asus board

Cpu:i5-4690k Gpu:r9 280x with some other things

Have to agree with the above. The H97I Plus is a really good board as long as you don't need to overclock.

Intel i5-4690K @ 3.8GHz || Gigabyte Z97X-SLI || 8GB G.Skill Ripjaws X 1600MHz || Asus GTX 760 2GB @ 1150 / 6400 || 128GB A-Data SX900 + 1TB Toshiba 7200RPM || Corsair RM650 || Fractal 3500W

Thanks for the replies, I don't think I'll be overclocking with this build unless I get a good cooler and something like a 4690k, but I would like Wi-Fi to make it easier when I go to a friends house or something like that. Is it possible to get a wireless card on the Asus motherboard? I'm also wondering what that slot is above the PCI-E and beside the IO.

Mini-ITX motherboards only have a single PCI-e slot that I assume will be used by your graphics card, so you cannot use a PCI based wireless adapter. There are, however, some based on USB... and because wireless adapters are shoddy either way, you won't really notice a difference. Something like this could work: http://www.ncix.com/detail/tp-link-tl-wn822n-300mbps-high-gain-4d-57498.htm?affiliateid=7474144

You could also look into the Asus Z97I-Plus if you want wi-fi built into the board, or if that's a little out of your price range the Gigabyte Z97N-WIFI. Or the MSI one =P
