Is it just me or does this look bad?

http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=2m512md&s=8#.VTUEFanrzhR

I have a Corsair Vengeance 4GBx2 kit, MSI Z97 Gaming 3 mobo and a I7 4790k. Anyway of fixing that or new ram? Is it possible that only one 4GB is broken? If so, could I get another 4GBx2 from Corsair at the same speed and use 12GB?

Thanks in advance. :)

Yeah that looks a hell of a lot like bad ram.

You need to verify which DIMM it is, or which slot is bad.  To do this you should run memtest on one module at a time (just pull the other one out and set it off to the side).  Chances are it's a bad DIMM, not a bad slot on your motherboard.

Corsair RAM has a lifetime warranty, so you should be able to RMA it through them if you're past the RMA deadline from the place you purchased.

Isopropyl alcohol is all you need for cleaning CPU's and motherboard components.  No, you don't need [insert cleaning solution here].  -Source: PhD Student, Chemistry

I found out which DIMM it is... I just got a brand new motherboard so I hope it's now the slot, lol.

Thanks

Did you use the same slot to check both DIMMs?  If so, and you didn't get any errors with the other DIMM, it's not your motherboard.

RMA that ram!
