MzCatieB

Hai i want your opinions on these components for a Game design/development workstation.

System needs to be able to play games stably as well as be able to render for cinematic's with possible upgrades. Needs to be Nvidia as i work with PhysX for work

Case: Corsair 780t (white)

CPU: i7-5930k

Motherboard: Asus X99-Deluxe

RAM: Corsair Vengeance 16gb (4x4gb) 2133mhz

GPU: Asus GTX Titan X 12gb

PSU: Corsair 850w (not 100% sure)

any suggestions for improvements?

Everything is good really, PSU is more than enough. Everything is prefect, what cooler are you using?

The time you enjoy wasting, is not wasted time.

Tbh I think that you could sli Titan x's on a 850 just fine. :)

Although if you intend doing a custom loop, I don't know how much more headroom you'll want...

Bleigh!  Ever hear of AC series?

tbh i could just stick with the 850w till i get a second card then get a 1200i just for the extra flex space

Well you'd certainly have some room to flex. Indeed just letting you know though, it can be done happily with what you have :)

Did some Quick reading here; http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/nvidia-geforce-gtx-titan-x-gm200-maxwell,4091-5.html

idle isnt the problem

Rendering can take a few days just for a few seconds of animations so headroom will mean comfort when i render for days at a time
