Steam not working on linux mint.

Go to solution Solved by Tarzan,

Did you removed and purged steam? (sudo apt-get remove --purge steam)

That's weird though, I have Mint Cinnamon 17.1 and no issue. Maybe do the upgrade to 17.1 as well and try again...

I have a problem with steam on linux mint 17. When I click on the option to start steam nothing happens. I've tried to uninstall steam and reinstall it but it just is not starting up at all.

Sorry for the lack of information but that is all I no about the problem.

Thanks. :)
