RAM (Brand) - Does it matter?

I've been looking forward to buy a 18GB (8x2) memory for my new build... and I was just wondering, does the brand really matter? 
A lot of my friends are telling me to go with Corsair... the thing is, I can't find someone that sells the "red" one (at least in my country). - I know its purely aesthetics but I want my rig to be just red and black.

 

What can you recommend guys?

Thank you for the reply. What RAM do you recommend I buy? - I'm really looking for something with a low chance of failing on me because returning an item in my country is crap. 

Get whatever 16GB kit of ram looks good to you or is cheapest. Ram is ran.

Kingston Fury and G.Skill RipjawX are nice and on cheaper side last time I checked. But there isn't really that much performance or quality difference.
