However, a MX100 or MX200 (Crucial), Samsung 840/850 EVO SSd's are also not bad ideas either. I just wanted to be different :)

I think the 850 evo would be your best bet. It has all the latest 3d nand technology and good overall performance for the money. Also, reliability is good with the 850 series ssd's from Samsung with a nice long warranty.
