Problem with Microphone making loud static sounds

So I have had this blue yeti microphone for a while now but the other day when I built my new computer, randomly my microphone will make a VERY loud static noise (so my friends in Skype tell me) and will not stop until I hang up and re call. I was wondering is there a fix to this or is it time to retire this microphone? Thanks for dropping by.

Check the plugs. One might not be plugged in all the way.

Rear I/O, USB 3.0

They seem to be in but I unplugged, then re plugged them in.

Try a different USB port

Ok, I myself ran into this issue a few months ago. Unfortunetly, I though it was my headset because I was using a 3.5mm jack and was suggested to get a usb converter for it to work with usb. But in this case I believe you are using usb, so the only advice I have for you is get a new mic or mess around with the settings in Skype, which I did and it solved my issue. Things like removing the automic adjusting features for the microphone in skype and manually set your volume, also check the setting for microphone in the audio settings of your computer, and remove things like "agc" or adjusting the levels to the appropriate mic levels.

Note - There has been issues with skype using microphones with skype causing high pitch static noises. The only solution they came up with is headsets. But I know I want to use micphones too. It was said to be a bug, but I highly doubt that :/

Also, if you've got other wires running across its wire, it might cause interference which would cause static if the Yeti's wiring isn't shielded.
