Screen Flicker Please Help!

I just recently built a new pc and installed my drivers but noticed that after installing the auto detect amd drivers for my  XFX r9 280 the screen would begin to flicker.

Try checking your I/O Cable on your tower and monitor if that doesnt work, turn off your monitor for awhile, if that ALSO does not work, might be time to update your GPU, Best of luck, Coos724!

Could be the display cable, but since it occurred after the driver install, it might also be worth uninstalling it, and reinstalling it.

I tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it and it didnt work
