You will need a DVD drive 

some double sided foam sticky tape or you can try stacking regular double sided tape

I've seen videos were you take the DVD apart and it's really not necessary just place the sticky tape were I did in the video if your 5.25 plate (is that what's its called) isn't just a flat piece you will need to saw it until it's a smooth flat piece.

 

Once you that stick the plate on and make sure the sticky taps on the button works properly and then put your DVD drive back into your case and make sure it sits flush with the rest of the case and just screw the DVD drive in

I would have broken the clips off a bay cover, removed the face on my drive, and glued the cover where the face was.

 

I might give that a try actually..
