Hey, new to the forums here but I'm in the middle of a really disappointing build that I just want to get done.

I recently purchased these parts (Will exclude parts that aren't part of the problem):
Asus GTX 770 2gb

ASRock Z77 mini itx board

SilverStone Strider Plus ST50F-P 500W ATX 12V v2.3/EPS 12V modular PSU

and a short cable set PP05

I don't want to list all my troubles here, but I already am disappointed that my Noctua fan doesn't fit this mobo, as well as the mobo only has 1 4-pin fan header, while the Bitfenix Prodigy has 2 3 pin fans.

The real problem is that this Asus graphics card has connectors that weren't included with my PSU, and I don't know where I might be able to get another. I tried doing everything I could to get it to work, and nothing matched up. If anyone knows what cable I need for this, it would be greatly appreciated.

 CPU: i5 3570k @ 3.4 GHz      RAMKingston HyperX Grey Series 8GB (2 x 4GB)      MOBO: ASRock Z77E-ITX

GPU: Gigabyte Aorus 1060 6GB     HDD's: WD Caviar Blue 1TB

PSUSilverStone Strider ST50F-P 500W       Case: BitFenix Prodigy (Black)

Heya,

When you say. the connectors on your graphics card weren't with the PSU. Do you mean these?

If so, the graphics card usually comes with these adapters:

If you don't have any of these, you can purchase them from any computer online store or Amazon. They don't cost much and just require a molex connector from your PSU.

Hope this helps  ^_^

Yeah, that's the one that I'm not able to get a connection into. The graphics card only came with a 6-pin PCIe to 8-pin PCIe power adaptor, but what I'm lost at is where I would plug in the molex connectors (i have a cable that has two of them with the label HDD, but I assume they might work).

The PSU only has 1 PCIE, a few hard drive ports, the mobo port, and an eps8pin. Would I be able to plug it into the ones labelled hard drive?

Yup, they will work fine. They will say HDD on them, as typically only optical drives (DVD/Blu-ray drives) and old legacy hard drives would use molex power connectors. The reason that PCI-E adapters require 2 molex power connectors is, they require a lot more power than what can be carried over a single molex connector. They should work fine with the adapter on your card  ^_^
