no SATA controller

i just bought an Asus x501a that it comes with no dvd, the think is i want to install windows 7, i managed to get into windows install but went it comes to install it it says the SATA controller is out of date ask your manufaturer, but in the web site there is nothing latest than what i have, i don´t know what else to do.

can anybody gime a hand please.

Download your SATA controller driver EXTRACTED (no setup.exe, not a zip file).

Put that on a USB flash drive.

Now when you get to that screen in Windows 7 setup:

Click on Load Driver, and select the one on your USB flash drive

You should be good.

NOTE: If it's unable to detect your USB, be SURE you are not using the USB 3,0 port. Windows 7 does not support natively USB 3.0. Windows 8 does.

I tried this already but the problem is that it says the sata controller is not up to date, and it is the latest one. I know i can install win7 cos i have the drivers from asus.
