So at my local Best Buy they have the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 (Yes, the reference one. Not EVGA.). I was planning on getting the Gigabyte Windforce version with 3 fans, but this one looked so cool so I couldn't decide. Which one do you prefer out of them? (Cooling wise, performance)

Well, there is almost no doubt the Windforce 970 is going to run cooler and quieter with better performance, especially in a case with good airflow.

The only reason I would recommend you go with the reference blower design is if your case has poor airflow and if the other system components would greatly benefit from the gpu's heat being dumped directly out of the case.

So yeah. I would go with the Gigabyte one.

Laptop - Lenovo Y50   Keyboard - Corsair K95 RGB Cherry MX Brown   Mouse - Logitech G502 Proteus Core   Mousepad - Razer Firefly
