Windows booting fail/crash

Go to solution Solved by SubTract,

Major hardware changes may require a clean install. especially if a different motherboard is involved.

You can try repairing windows from the installation media first.

Hey, I just upgraded my i7 920 to a i5 4690K and a MSI Z97 SLI Krait edition. When I powered it up, I went into BIOS, setted up some fan curves and thats it. Before I tried to overclock it, I wanted to check it stability by stresstest. When it tried to load Windows, it immidietly crash with no BSOD or error message and reboot. I tried swapping drive with the windows for a different one but its the same. I need help fast because tomorrow is GTA 5 released and I want to play it :) Here are my specs:

i5 4690K

MSI Z97 Krait edition

AMD R9 280X

SSD Crucial MX100

8 GB Crucial Ballistix Sport 1600Mhz

Relativly old Xilence XP700W PSU
