laptop ! wont type

Hey people... My laptop on xp... It will only type number across the top of the keyboard.. when I try to do letters it makes single tone no typing ... Thanks

Might be time for a replacement :P

 

I suggest making a live, persistent USB flash drive of Ubuntu or something to test if the keyboard itself is actually working. Use LiLi USB and make 2-3 GB or so of persistence.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

Hm. It's recognizing something. Probably time to replace it.
