Weird Internet Connectivity

Go to solution Solved by Mbarton,

I tried that and it just stops and says it is resuming download and doesn't resume

Yea that definitely sounds like its there servers maybe wait a few hours before downloading.

Hi, I am downloading BF4 on my PC, and it says that it is downloading at 15 KILOBYTES per second. This cannot be correct as when I run a speedtest on the same network, I have 20 MBs per second download. On other computers, the internet is completely fine. Do any of you know what the problem is and how to fix this? Thanks

Wait, you have 20 MEGABYTES per second download (getting to the extreme side) or 20 MEGABITS per second download? Kinda important, scaling by 3 powers of 2 here.

Are you using Ethernet or Wi-Fi or HomePlug ethernet to that PC and what are you using to the other ones?

Are Origin's servers just flooded? I don't know.

Sig under construction.

  • It could be that EA`s servers are just being slow right now.

You could be using a VPN.

Something else is downloading on your. PC (check steam updates).

Some one else on your network is downloading something on your network (sibling mom dad network leechers)

I  have GameServer`s And VOIP servers the only price is that you have fun on them.

ok I just paused uploading files to a NAS and it didn't seem to affect the download speed. Maybe EA's servers are slow

After pausing did you restart the download?

willing to bet its either your isp or origins server. It happens, i get speeds like that every now and then even with my 130Mb/s connection. Not much you can do if the servers you are downloading from are slow

Case: Phanteks Evolve X with ITX mount  cpu: Ryzen 3900X 4.35ghz all cores Motherboard: MSI X570 Unify gpu: EVGA 1070 SC  psu: Phanteks revolt x 1200W Memory: 64GB Kingston Hyper X oc'd to 3600mhz ssd: Sabrent Rocket 4.0 1TB ITX System CPU: 4670k  Motherboard: some cheap asus h87 Ram: 16gb corsair vengeance 1600mhz
