Skype BandWith problem

I have this problem where this specific one friend host the call and my bandwith goes critical when he host but everyone else could hear him fine but when someone else host the call it's perfectly fine. Any solutions?

maybe he has ports enable or something, before you do anything did you try to reset your modem and then getting him to host again, it may be something with your connection too, who knows

I was thinking it was mine but everytime I do reset it afterwards it work for a couple minutes but then happens again. Idk if it's skype version because before I updated skype, it was perfectly fine like below the 7.0 updates I believe.
