Upgrade question

About to build my pc but I don't wanna game at 1080.I had asked for a 1440p build and the 970 was suggested should I swap for a cheaper gpu and game at 1080p preferably the 960 or 280 I think I'm not sure.In the future (cyber Monday) I'll buy a better gpu wanna save now then upgrade.

What gpu should I go with now?

Or stay with this build for 1440p but cheaper for now is better.

If you can change the gpu to something that can max 1080 that will be good.under 1k

Keep the 970 in the build. It's what I see as best for 1080p (290 is also a good option). For 1440p I'd recommend a GPU with actual 4gb of vram, like a 290.
