I am considering buying a CoolerMaster Hyper 212 Evo to replace my AMD FX-6350 3.9GHz Hexacore stock fan. I hear I would be able to do a little overclocking with that fan. My MSI 970A-G43 motherboard uses MSI Control Center software. It has OC Genie II  on it. It's basically a turbo boost that detects the load , and temps, etc. If I get the fan, should I use the turbo boost, or manually over clock it in BIOS? And if I were to manually do it, what is a gook GHz speed? And how much of a performance boost am I looking at? Thank you for you help!

I always advise overclocking manually. Automatic solutions can sometimes add too much voltage and still not guarantee a stable overclock.
