Second hard drive wont show up until restart?

Go to solution Solved by techguru,

http://www.seagate.com/ca/en/support/downloads/

download seatools and do a diagnotic of the drive

I can only see my second hard drive (in the bios and in Windows 8.1) after I press ctrl + alt + del after pressing F11 to select boot option. This is the fastest way, but I could boot windows and press restart if I wanted too. Nevertheless, I can't see my second hard drive until I soft restart. If I do a cold boot, I can't see it. Once it shows up, the read/write is totally normal, and on any other computer, it works as it should. It's only on this one that it does this weird thing. Even if no other hard drive is in, It only works upon restart.

any help is appreciated. Here are my specs:

16GB DDR3 Ram (4x4GB by Hynix) (not official site)

Hard drives (couldn't find official sites):

Seagate ST3750528AS (working fine)

Seagate ST3320613AS (the weird one)

I tried other cables, but to no avail. Can anyone help me?

My UEFI bios is already at latest.

I tried new cables.

I tried new spots on the motherboard.

My settings can only apply to booting, and that's the only options for my motherboard. That doesn't help, if it's not recognized until after a restart. Once the computer sees it, I can change the boot settings to include it, but after it's shut off, I can't access it until I restart.

I didn't even know hard drives HAD firmware updates...

I'll check that too.
