Need a new GPU

Hey guys,

i need a new GPU to play on my ROG Swift, i have kept my GTX 780 DCU2 but that's it. I mainly play World of Warcraft and i got some serious FPS drops. I have like 50 fps with everything in ultra on main cities, 60 fps when i play on High...and it sometimes it drops to 10...really annoying and that also happens when i PvP...


I was thinking:

970 SLI
980 single card
Titan X 


Hoping i wont have to get the Titan X, its pretty daymn expensive in Europe...

What you think?

What is your cpu? Wow is very CPU intensive.

I have to agree with @Pohernori because WoW is very CPU bound, that could be what's holding your performance back. A 780 should be more than enough to play WoW on Ultra at 1440p.

on my laptop i used to play AAA games on low with 30fps...and didnt have a problem only my cooler got dusty and I didnt find a way how to reach the fan by opening everything so I was forced to use a desktop for gaming...

Just get a 980 or wait for the 980 Ti. I have the ROG Swift. I'm waiting for the 980 Ti but I might buy the Titan X if it comes back in stock on Newegg.
