Are you going to reuse the parts you already have IE harddrive?

And what is the budget on this upgrade and what specifically do you really want to upgrade?

Yes I will reuse the hardrive and ram but everything else I would like to start over with eventually case just for looks and psu for wattage amount.

Also I want cpu, mobo, gpu, case, and psu to be upgraded and to have a red and black theme as it matches keyboard mousepad and soon to have headset and mouse. Budget for new pc is with no new hardrive and ram to be about $1000.

Wait till you have more cash, sell your rig and start from scratch.

 

Drop the i7, get a xeon e3 1230 v3 and an ssd for the same price.

Love your help but really just need approval on the parts other than mobo and case. With mobo and case suggest a red and black awesome mid-tower < $100 and mobo <$130 and I am upgrading slowly so no starting from scratch

Oh yeh and thanx for mobo suggestion but overkill gpu equals temps thru the roof I would melt ice beside my computer lol

Your current PSU will be enough for a gtx 970.

EDIT: Also, corsair PSU's are bad, you are better off with either a Seasonic one, EVGA, Antec or XFX.
