I bought an fx6300 and I wanted some people to give their opinion I would really like a 5820k but ddr4 and new mobo too ( I'm 15 and im unemployed ) so should I if I want to start you-tubing/ streaming buy a skylake of equivalent to i7 4790k or 4970k or should I really save for 5820k if I will be running Skype, recording software, the game , and all back ground programs just let me know as I don't expect to do this soon. And I would really like to know what to do to be future proof when I buy it?

You can't future proof, if you're doing a lot of multitasking with simple programs like Skype I would probably go Intel. They get better single threaded performance which you need. The 5820K is nice but IMO I would wait until the next iteration when DDR4 is cheaper and the motherboards are cheaper and such (ie. Skylake is the next to come out I believe, I think u mentioned that above) ANYWAYS, I would hold out with the CPU you have or get a 4770K, not as good as the 4790K but you can pick them up cheap on eBay or maybe even on here, anyways I know the feeling of 15 and unemployed and I wouldn't take the expensive jump to X99 yet.

In my very humble opinion , I would hold off for now . The new stuff coming out of intel in the next 6 months or so ,  will effect all the old intel stuff in pricing especially as , when a new chip comes out , people unload their old one and you can score a deal .

Start saving your pennies , mow some lawns , get a paper route , harrass relatives , etc .

In the mean time , overclock that 6300 and start your youtube channel and learn all the video production aspects .

By the time you are rocking and making quality vids , you'll be able to upgrade your pc .

 MSI Z97A Gaming7 , 4690k , 2 X MSI 960 4g , 500gb ssd , 7tb of WD hdd storage , EVGA 100G2 , Corsair h100i , 2 X 32" 1440p as I RMAd the 4k ones , CM quickfire .

NOW I'VE LOST IT I KNOW I CAN KILL . TRUTH IS HIDDEN BEYOND THE GATES  IT'S ALL DARKER THAN BLACK .
