I am building a new PC for YouTube, this is not a request for a new build, but merely to finish the one I have and make suggestions if really necessary.

 

I have the mic already in the budget as well as the camera and some base components, but it is missing several things that I don't know enough about to put in.

 

Cool looking / simple cases are appreciated.

Well you can check out the Fractal Define R5 and Phanteks Enthoo Pro. They're quite simple cases

They H100i comes with preapplied thermal paste if you didnt know, but having a tube on hand is quite useful

Also you might want to up the hdd to a 2tb model, since you said you are doing the Youtubes.

Buying the i7 4790 is like paying $40 more for integrated graphics.  The Xeon will be better if you aren't overclocking.  I don't know about your mic/webcam/other gear.
