I took out my R9 270 because it was having some really weird problems that I believe are hardware related and sent it to ASUS for an RMA. Even though I didn't touch another single thing in my PC when doing so, now neither of my hard drives will boot into Windows. (One is a cloned backup.) They are both fully functional, I think, because I am still able to boot into Linux Mint 17 on my main drive and both the drives show up, but it doesn't give me the option to boot into anything else. A couple times I switched the SATA cables and power connectors, and once or twice I was given the option to boot into Windows, but after that there would just be a blank screen with nothing but the backlight on.

Other times, the option to go into the BIOS wouldn't appear at all and nothing would show on the screen until Linux Mint came up. That's what it's doing now.

And, yes, I am using integrated graphics. Could it be a driver issue?

can't see it being a driver issue because the problem starts as soon as you boot the pc, but it's weird how it detects no hdd but then boots in to Linux

I recall that on a motherboard with my old system, I accidentally set the graphics detection to integrated before dedicated, and it caused no BIOS option or whatever to be shown because no drivers existed for the AMD HD 3000 integrated graphics and it booted directly into Windows. So maybe this is doing the same thing in a different manner. With the multiple OSes I have, it will select Linux automatically unless I make my own choice, and because I am not able to choose due to the screen showing up, it goes to Linux Mint. I dunno how I would fix it, though. I might have to put my old dedicated card back in.

yeah, you might have to put a card in as it probably won't show anything on the igpu

edit: have you tried resetting your cmos

Yes, I plan to try that soon. I'm just a little tired right now; I had a long day at school and my area has just been put under a tornado watch. My PC's in the basement, though, so it should be okay. ;)

well hopefully it works, and also are you not craping your self because you're area has been put under tornado watch, you just seem so casual about it

Eh, there aren't any storms anywhere near my area according to Doppler radar, and besides, tornado watches only mean the conditions are favorable for tornadoes to form. One occurring near my house is still really low. I live in an area where we get these watches, oh, around 5 times or more during Spring and Summer combined. It makes things a little more exciting. xD
