get the i5 now and upgrade to ssd later. But also get a new HDD because old laptop drives suck and they are not really expensive

I'd go with the i5 its way more beneficial than getting a SSD, it won't do much for you just load the game faster and maybe render objects a bit better

I5. An SSD is a luxury, not a neccesity.

SSDs are not a luxury, any PC without one is low-end. No matter what other components.

I would say false.  You could say an i5 is a "luxury" too.  It in no way is a necessity.

That is bullshit and wrong. They are purely low end and a large majority of machines still use only mechanical.

Don't. Many applications force themselves onto the C:\ drive and you'll be stuck that way.

You'll be fine getting the i5 and getting a bigger SSD down the line! :)

I could be wrong on the exact number, but I believe you need 64gb for operating system, most people get a min of 120GB SSD for a reason. Including myself.

I think you have to have at least a 120GB.

If someone can correct me if I am wrong plz

Yes sir! I will correct you!

Windows requires about 12gb. Anything bigger than that you can use. I reccomend 64gb as a minimum though, so you can throw a few programs in it as well.

So a puka with a 5960x and titan x SLI but only a WD10EZEX is low end. Ok

I would say false.  You could say an i5 is a "luxury" too.  It in no way is a necessity.

But I didn't say that. An SSD is the cherry on top.

This is by far within my almost five thousand posts the most retarded reaction I've ever received, I'm out.

Get the i5 now as others have said. And upgrade to an SSD at a later stage. Bear in mind that GTA V requires 65GB of disk space. So you may want to use your laptop hard drive anyway as well as an SSD down the line.

SSDs are not a luxury, any PC without one is low-end. No matter what other components.

Agreed fully. My SSD was the best upgrade I ever had. Upgrading other components gave a reasonably noticeable improvement while moving from HDD to SSD changed my life completely. Been using it for 2 years now and could never go back lol
