I am running a EVGA GTX 780Ti superclocked and want to add a second monitor to my setup but have no idea on what cables I need!!!

This is the monitor with a DVI input

Am I right in thinking that I need a DisplayPort to DVI cable to get the two talking? If so will this cable be adequate at doing the job?

Thanks!

The EVGA 780Ti Superclocked uses the reference design. It has 2x DVI, 1x DisplayPort and 1x HDMI.

As your monitor also has DisplayPort, technically you need no cables to buy as the monitor comes with a DVI cable, but your specific monitor doesn't include that cable (too cheap?!). Anyway, so you need a standard single-link DVI cable.
