So what I've been wondering is quite simply that I don't know what the best upgrade would be for my system.

I'm currently running a i5-4570 non k @ 3.2GHz, a asus 770 as gpu and 24GB of ram (really don't think I will be needing more ram).

The mobo is Z87-a so it can do sli if that would be better.

Right now I'm stuck between deciding if I want to go with a better cpu, gpu or even just look into upgrading my monitor since it's a 1080p 60Hz and apparently I'm missing a lot with the better ones :P

Also please note that I'm not saying I want to upgrade right this second, I'm just trying to get an idea of whats what.

Thanks :D

I think you should see the new R300 series cards before doing anything.

You seem to be maxing out your current monitor, so I would wait and upgrade everything at some point, as all of it is pretty much par.

I dont see why you want to upgrade at all. Are you having performance issues? If not just get a better monitor such as the VG248QE by asus. It is a cheap 144hz monitor with 1ms response time

That's a pretty decent GPU, I would look at getting the i5 4690k so you have the ability to OC with a little bit newer of a model from Intel.

Yeah, I was considering the monitor as I'm still using some stock HP one from a while back. As for performance, the main thing is that I do a lot of multi tasking with the computer and the cpu doesn't like that. That being said its definitely bearable and that's why I wanted second opinions before I go and just spend a ton of money when I don't even need to.

If you don't have an SSD get one.

If you do, upgrade your monitor!

Your CPU is fine! And will not be a bottleneck for years.

Just remember: Random people on the internet ALWAYS know more than professionals, when someone's lying, AND can predict the future.
