What's different about Noctuas "FLX" fans?

Hey everyone!

I was curious about this since I saw them. Are they just normal noctua fans without PWM? I have a fan controller so that won't be an issue.

What does "FLX" mean? Help me out!

140mm fans with 120mm mounting points. Good for CPU coolers, Not so ideal as case fans.

EDIT- Nevermind, I might have mixed that up somewhat :/

I'd guess the FLX stands for flexibility according to this:

  • Providing 1200, 1050 and 900 rpm speed settings via the supplied Low-Noise and Ultra-Low-Noise Adaptors, the NF-A14 FLX (Flexibility) can be fine-tuned for superior airflow or maximum quietness.

Probably just flexibility for usages.
