That computer is above and beyond what you need to get good FPS in CSGO.

Screw 200fps. Useless. Not to mention the 60hz monitor restricts that. I personally don't see the massive attraction to 144hz monitors. My 60hz works great for everything, and I've never ever had an issue with tearing, etc.

Whats up guys, i was wondering if this is a good setup for playing cs go and other lower graphic games. And I was also wondering if this setup could get me around 200 fps on medium graphics.

Have same CPU and GPU... i get 230FPS on max in CSGO

That's pretty overkill if CS:GO is the only thing you're expecting to play.

I think you can easily go for an i5 4460 or even cheaper instead and a cheaper GPU so that you can get a 144/120Hz monitor. You can probably get a cheaper mobo, but I have no idea about those.

If I'm not mistaken, the only benefit from excessive fps is that you'll less likely to dip below the max refresh rate. A monitor with 60Hz is physically restricted to 60 fps, so 60, 200 and 9001 fps are no different.

I'm telling the truth! I AM a 12 year old girl!

Sounds like it's coming from someone that's never had the pleasure of using a 144Hz monitor!

To the OP, that build looks fine, but if you're wanting to see those higher fps you'll need a 144Hz display, or you'll just be seeing 60fps essentially.
