4790k Overclock Issue

Hi,

 

I was comparing scores with fire strike against someone else's score with a similar system

 

I have overclocked my cpu to 4.7Ghz

 

In fire strike it states that maximum turbo core clock 800Mhz

 

Does anyone know what this is all about

I've just checked cpu-z and under load it does go up to 4.7Ghz

how are temps maybe it throtles

temps are ok, it never went above 70 c during fire strike

 

It's a strange one, the cpu is definitely going up to 4.7 Ghz 

 

It might just be the way that its configured in the bios settings
