Whenever I try installing Razer Synapse to use any of my razer stuff it always freezes like this for hours and never goes anywhere, tried disablling my anti virus, uninstalling and restarting after cleaning it from my registry, and logging on as the admin user.

I think this is a common problem.  Just let it do its thing and wait.

How many hours do you wait? I've had it run for like 4 hours once.

i've had some issues with logitech's drivers, but it seems like everyone in the world with razer products has issues with synapse...

sidenote: did you leave that sit for a few minutes? sometimes windows derps, and doesnt realise it needs to ask you if "this program is allowed to make changes".

EDIT: i'm blind, scratch that sidenote...

I've never had issues with Synapse, personally.

Only piece of exclusive software I've had issues with is Geforce Experience when installing drivers. Never again.

as an nVidia fanboy i can confirm geforce experience is a nightmare, although it seems to be getting better...

(also, gotta love the support for ALL the 5 games in their optimalization list, and "optimized" settings running at an amazing 15 FPS...)

OT: didnt linus have issues with synapse as well in a review somewhere? or was that a different thing?

OP: Does it ever ask you for the UAC?

Check your UAC settings, and try setting it to "Never ask" while you install it.

I personally didn't have issues with Synapse 2.0, but i've heard "Meh" things about it,

Search for UAC and click the only item that shows up.

It will look like this.
