I installed windows 8 originally as a MBR partition instead of EFI. It's a costly mistake because I have to sit through all the windows update again. Remember guys, if you're installing Windows 8 and it's a UEFI mobo, SWITCH IT TO UEFI BOOT BEFORE INSTALLING WINDOWS!

So I was just figuring out the bios on my mobo and I tried turning the boot mode to UEFI because it was originally on UEFI+Legacy. When it booted up, it shows the MSI logo for a while, then kicks me into the EFI shell.

If I type exit, it then kicks me into the bios. What am I doing wrong? If I switch it back to UEFI+Legacy boot, everything's fine as usual.

You might need to get your screen checked :P It shouldn't be pink O.o

 

I got the infamous HTC One m7 with the crazy purple tint. Already rma-ed 3 times and still has this issue. Luckily I'm changing to the m9 soon.
